Your Hirus Certified Energy Advisor will perform a full energy evaluation on your home and will point out changes you can make which could help you to save both energy consumption and costs.

The Hirus Certified Energy Auditor will perform a visual inspection of your home from the basement to the attic. The auditor will assess your home’s insulation levels, heating and cooling systems, and any other uses of energy. The Hirus energy audit includes a “blower door” test which detects the “tightness” of your home and will locate and point out to you the areas in your home which leak precious energy.  

The whole process will take 1-2 hours to complete. As well as gaining the information and knowledge required to start saving energy in your home, you will receive a personalized Energy Efficiency Evaluation Report complete with recommendations specific to your home.
